What if I can’t attend the Summer Concert?

Greenstone Entertainment offers concert goers a ticket exchange forum which is available by clicking HERE!

Alternatively, feel free to sell your tickets to family or friends, or through other channels, and just send us an email at ticket@gstone.co.nz letting us know:

  • Original purchaser name or email address, new purchasers name & email address along with corresponding ticket number/s or order ID number/s.

We will then email you confirmation that this information has been received and updated internally.

Am I able to cancel or refund my tickets?

Refund and Cancellation Policy: the Concert is an all-weather event. The Concert will take place rain, hail or shine. Promoter reserves the right to change, add, withdraw or substitute artists in the Concert line-up, vary the advertised program, vary the date, vary the Concert Site without prior notification and deny admission to the Concert Site with reasonable cause.

No refunds on tickets except where required by law or in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Ticketing of Live Entertainment Events in New Zealand

There will be no refund of any unused portion of a Concert Ticket if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave for any of the reasons set out in the Concert T+Cs or if you decide not to attend.

You are responsible for checking the age minimum for the Concert. No refunds will be processed if you are denied entry due to not having valid identification for admittance to the Concert Site.

What is your Policy Regarding Children?

Tickets for Children:

(a) 14 Years and Under: children aged 14 years (inclusive) and under (as at Concert Date) are admitted free of charge to the Concert Site(s).

(b) Children Over 14 Years: Children who are over 14 years of age (as Concert Date) are to buy a Concert Ticket (as required)

You will be required to present proof of age for all children aged 14 years and under (As at Concert Date). Children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. All Children Under 18 Years of Age (Minors) must be accompanied at all times in the Concert Site by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.

What are the benefits of becoming a Member?

Membership is absolutely FREE. As a member you’ll be among the first to receive exclusive offers, event promotions/announcements and ticket sales details. You need to be a Member to buy tickets, so keep your Member Details up to date to ensure you don’t miss out on any breaking news. Click here to register as a Member now.

Is the Member Area safe and secure?

Yes, the Members Area is a password protected environment. If you are concerned that you have lost your password, or wish to change your password, you can reset it here (or navigate to the Members Area login page and click the Forgot Password button).

How do I update my contact details?

Login to the Members Area and click on ‘My Details’ in the Members Area sidebar.

What do I do if I can’t remember what email address I used to register?

Try logging in and see if you can remember what email address you might have used; our system will tell you if the email address you enter does not exist in our system. Otherwise you can contact us and we can look up your email address in our system; before doing this we will need to verify your identity.

What do I do if I have forgotten my Password?

Passwords are case sensitive, so check whether you have the Caps-Lock key on and try entering your password again. If this still doesn’t work or you think you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here (or navigate to the Members Area login page and click the Forgot Password button).

Why is an email confirmation required after I have registered as a member?

You should receive an email within a few minutes of submitting your online Member registration form. This email includes a link which must be clicked in order to validate your registration. Clicking on this link double-checks that your email address has been correctly recorded and ensures you will receive important news and exclusive offers about the event/s.

When a large number of people are registering at once it may take up to half an hour to receive the confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, contact us and we’ll ensure your registration is completed.

How do I download my E-tickets?

Once you purchase a PRINT AT HOME E-TICKET – You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to download your print at home e-ticket. The tickets will be stored and remain safe and secure for the life of the ticket, and therefore there is no rush to download. To download these tickets, just login to the Members Area, click on ‘My Orders’ in the Members Area sidebar, and then click the ‘View Order Details’ link. From this page you can choose to Download or Email your E-tickets.

To download your ticket/s you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have it installed, you can download it for free from: www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html

How do I print my E-ticket’s in hard copy?

You can print your E-tickets on your home printer in black and white or colour, on standard A4 paper. Please ensure that the barcode has printed correctly, otherwise we might be unable to scan your ticket correctly at the gate. Once printed, please read the terms and conditions.

Why do I need to “name” my E-tickets?

You must name each ticket in order to gain entry to your event, the name of your ticket must match the name of your ID.

To name your Ticket/s, Login to your Members Area:

  1. Click on the ‘My Orders’ menu
  2. Click on the ‘View Order Details’ button corresponding to your order/s
  3. Click on the ‘Name Tickets’ button, for each ticket that you wish to re-name and personalize the ticket for the person who will be using the ticket to gain entry.
  4. Enter the new ticketholder name in the field provided
  5. Click the ‘Name Ticket’ button

In the case of E-tickets, once you have named them, you download and print them by either:

  1. Clicking the ‘Download Ticket’ button next to each individual ticket and then printing (Note: Please make sure your download blocker is not turned on!), or
  2. Clicking the ‘Email Tickets’ button next to the ‘Order Description’ to have each individual ticket on the order emailed to your registered email address.

To download your ticket/s you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have it installed, you can download it for free from –www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html

You can re-name a Ticket as required, by following the above instructions. However the name on the Ticket must match the ID of the patron upon Entry.

How do I use my E-ticket to gain entry to the event?

On the day of the event simply take your E-ticket/s with you as you would for any event ticket. Please present your E-ticket on arrival at the entry gate. The name on your E-ticket must match the name on your ID.

How do I use my Express Pass?

Present the Express Pass with your GA Ticket and you’re in an hour early! Or – you can come in when you want and enter through the express lane. No queues – leisurely entry – best position.

Please Note: Your Express Pass ticket entitles you and your belongings through the Express Pass lane (1 x Chair & 1 x Chilly Bin). You are not allowed to setup/bring large blankets or belongings to set up for your group.

Meet & Greet Terms & Conditions

1. No food, beverage or smoking allowed back stage.
2. No autographs or personal photographs are permitted. You will receive a complimentary photograph that will be emailed to you.
3. If offered the opportunity to shake hands – gentle handshakes only please.
4. You will be required to follow the instructions of the organisers at all times.
5. If you are showing any signs of intoxication you will be refused entry to the back stage area.
6. Meet and Greet time and artists to be advised, and is subject to change at any time.
7. The Promoter, at their discretion, reserves the right to refuse access to the Meet & Greet if the recipients are deemed to be intoxicated or not behaving in an acceptable manner.

What do I eat & drink?

Alcohol is not permitted to be bought into the venue and no alcohol is to be taken out of the venue to comply with the NZ Liquor Licensing laws.

A wide selection of Gibbston Valley Wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and their award-winning Pinot Noir will be sold at the venue along with beer and non-alcoholic beverages. FREE refill water will be available.

You may bring your own picnic and non-alcoholic drinks. A variety of local food vendors will be on site. Please note: the management reserves the rights to search bags and coolers on entry and prohibited items will be confiscated.

How do I get there?

On-site car parking is available, accessible from Gibbston Highway.

Parking fee is a gold coin donation to a local community group.

Please follow signage and directions on the day.

Private bus parking provision off Gibbston Highway.

Taxi drop-off and collection points will be available.

PRE-PURCHASE YOUR BUS TICKET – BUS TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW BY CLICKING HERE!

Departures to the concert run every 10 minutes from 9.00am to 1pm, departing from the pick-up locations below and delivering you to the Gibbston Valley Winery main entrance.

Return transfers from the concert depart from 6.30pm from the Gibbston Valley Winery main entrance for return journey to the pick-up locations below. NB: Coaches will continue until every person has returned.

Pick-up locations:

  • Queenstown Pick-up: Queenstown Primary School
  • Frankton Pick-up: Frankton Bus Shelter and Toilets
  • Arrowtown Pick-up: Arrowtown Bus Parks (behind Arrowtown main village)

NOTE: Passengers have to pre-purchase their bus tickets, will be required to produce their ticket to our drivers to gain entry on board buses for both journeys. Children age 14 and under are free of charge, and do not require a bus ticket.

Wanaka Bus service:

Where do I sit?

Chairs are permitted to be used at the venue but, please be considerate to the people around you.

Shades permitted in designated area’s only. Please bring hats and plenty of sun screen.

If you wish to bring umbrellas please be aware that you will be placed in a designated umbrella area.

What if it rains?

The show will go on rain, hail, or shine so come prepared for NZ’s changeable weather. The concert will only be cancelled if the conditions are considered dangerous by the organisers .

If cancellation occurs, tickets will be refunded only at the point of purchase. If a change is made to the line-up and it is out of the promoters control, no refunds will be made.

Who is able to attend?

The event is wheelchair accessible.

Parking and toilets will be available but as it is a grass venue please ensure mobility on this surface.

If you have any special requirements please contact us so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

What do I need to know?

No professional video or audio recording equipment is to be brought in to the venue e.g. long lens cameras. Any equipment discovered will be confiscated.

Medical, Police and the Fire Service will be on site.

No animals except guide dogs.

No cookers or fires permitted on site.

NO Pass Outs

Smoking and Vaping only in designated areas.

Please bring plenty of cash as most vendors will not have card facilities within the venue. Cash out facilities are available at the venue.

Management reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to ticket holders considered dangerous or a nuisance or failing to comply with reasonable requests.

Due to the Amphitheatre’s ideal central location, we encourage you to walk to the venue.

Whitianga Loop Shuttle Bus

There is a FREE Whitianga Town Loop Shuttle Bus which runs on 2 routes to the concert and back.
This is a FREE bus for concert goers sponsored by Thames Coromandel District Council.

Loop 1: Ferry – i-SITE – Venue

Loop 2: Centennial Ave – Buffalo Beach Rd (toilets near Halligan Rd) – Venue

Please note: Whitianga out of town busses (ie Coromandel, Pauanui, Whangamata etc..) Children do require a bus ticket to board these busses.

Whitianga Loop Bus: Children 14 and under are free and do not require a bus pass.
